Sentence Starts The Story

This is a fun little contest for writers.

 Write a story that starts with this sentence: “Time travel is impossible.”

Your story must start with the sentence above. Do not add to the sentence. You have the option to put it in quotes (for dialogue) and to change the punctuation at the end. But do not add to the sentence or change it in any other way.
Deadline: Feb 28. 2007
Eligibility:  International, Open to all ages
