Scribble Magazine
This contest will appeal mostly to our UK visitors, though it appears that anyone is welcome to enter!
Park Publications in the UK are the Publishers of SCRIBBLE – the short story magazine,
and COUNTRYSIDE TALES….fiction, articles, and poetry.
They run an ongoing quarterly (enter anytime) for Scribble Magazine and a few deadline contests for both Scribble and Countryside Tales.
They have an upcoming deadline contest: THE SCRIBBLE ANNUAL THEMED COMPETITION with a deadline of November 15, 2006.
Is there a member of your family you could write a story about? Purely fictional, of course. Or maybe not! Max Length: 3000 words. Prizes: £100.00. £50.00. £25.00. Entry Fee: £4.00
If you subscribe to the publication … you can enter all their contests for free.
Eligibility: There don’t appear to be any age or country restrictions, BUT you must send your entries and entry fee by mail. Hmmmm I guess not everyone has heard about Paypal yet!
