I found a great new website for kids … encouragement for their creative talents.
Read, Write & Draw offers prizes for submissions from children based on a monthly story. Your child will finish the story in their own words and include a drawing (using any media) to accompany the story. All submissions are due or should be postmarked by the last day of the month. The winner’s story and drawing will be posted here two weeks later for all to see!Entries may be submitted online, e-mailed or sent via regular mail. Prizes will be mailed to the winner before the end of the following month. There are no restrictions to the number of submissions you may enter. To qualify, your child must be between the age of 5 and 14 years old.Prizes include gift cards from Walmart, Toy’s ‘R Us, McDonalds, savings bonds and cash.
