If you are 13 to 24 and a US resident, submit a 100 word essay about your biggest achievement and how a high school or college teacher helped you shine in that moment.
There are two grand prizes. One for high school and one for college. Winners will get a $1000 scholarship, and a trip to NYC for two people for two nights. While in NYC you will get a professional makeover and a tour of Seventeen magazine.
The teachers who were nominated will win a two-night trip for two to a Spa Resort.

I was over at a friends place a few weeks ago … for an end of summer BBQ. They made a great ice cream by dumping the ingredients into a BALL … yes, I DID say a ball.
Then they let the kids play around with it … and finally they scouped the ice cream out of the ball. The kids just went crazy for it. The adults got to have ice cream that was made ahead of time and stored in the freezer … which was not quite as much fun!
I’m already looking for great Xmas gifts. This one is great for a family with young kids.
