Rejected Fiction Writing Contest
Have you ever had your fiction submissions rejected time after time? Ready to give up?
PLEASE DON’T … not all is lost!
If you have been rejected five or more times you can enter your work into the Rejected Fiction Writing Contest.
You’ve got plenty of time to collect rejection slips … because entries will be accepted and read from December 1st, 2006 until June 30th of 2007.
Enter any fiction that is under 8,000 words. There is a $10 entry fee per manuscript.and you can submit up to two entries per person.
Five rejection slips (or copies thereof) must accompany each entry.
Given that you’ve already been rejected so many times, the prizes are very nice …
1st - $200
2nd - $100
3rd - $50
An honorable mention award may be added at the discretion of the editors.
AND best of all? Each winning story will also be published in The Rejected Quarterly.
And regardless of winning or not. Be PROUD of your rejection slips. It means you are writing and you are putting yourself out there! Which is a GOOD THING.
